Case Study – Apunipima
How Apunipima are using an integrated HCM Suite to focus funding on service delivery
Established in 1994, Apunipima has grown from a small advocacy organisation to the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Queensland. With over 260 staff, they are continuing their mission to eliminate health inequality in Cape York.
Ascender caught up with Executive Manager of Organisational Development, Karen Mounsey to find out how Ascender’s online Human Capital Management suite has helped with their service delivery.
With employees scattered across a wide range of communities in Cape York, Apunipima faced challenges in ensuring all employees were connected and had access to the latest data and information in order to carry out the best health services possible.
“With the system, no matter where you work, you have the same ability to connect to information and have access to the system as if you’re sitting right next to the I.T. area.” – Karen Mounsey, Executive Manager of Organisational Development, Apunipima
