Subject Matter Expert - Indonesia Payroll

Position Responsibilities:

  • Abide by Ascender's Code of Conduct, Values and Policies and Procedures
  • Be aware of and comply with all Ascender and customer Information Security protocols
  • Adhere to all Information Security Standards Policies and Procedures
  • Provide expert advice and support to the Operations Manager, Payroll Managers, Payroll Team Leaders, and Payroll Executives/Payroll Consultants with regards to the following:
    • Country legislation and regulatory requirements and compliance
    • Legislation updates
    • Standard processes
    • Best practices

 

  • Create and update process documents to be included with the Knowledge Management team's database
  • Develop training materials with the Learning and Development team to provide learning modules for operations
  • Provide training as applicable to appropriate audience (with coordination with the Learning and Development team)
  • Review and follow up action items on root cause analyses
  • Attend client meetings to better explain incidents and actions taken/will be taken
  • Determine legislation updates for countries assigned and disseminate information accordingly to the operations teams
  • Ensure standardisation opportunities are realised wherever possible
  • Provide inputs in creating and updating Business Continuity Plans
  • Develop and maintain client facing materials that can be used during operational calls
  • Coordinate system testing whenever applicable including but not limited to regression testing and user acceptance testing

 

 

Qualifications and Experience, Job Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

  • Extensive knowledge on Indonesia payroll and statutory processing
  • Payroll or payroll-related experience minimum or equivalent to at least 5 years on the countries supported
  • Ability to communicate to clients in a clear and concise manner preferably without using 'system-speak'
  • Capacity to see projects through to completion
