The Role

Ascender is a leading payroll and HCM (Human Capital Management) systems and service provider in the APJ region.  We are growing within our sector and planning future growth as we integrate into the global Ceridian organisation.
The Payroll Service Delivery Manager provides direct assistance to the Operations Manager  in the assigned area of coverage in performing his/her operational and management functions. He/she also serves as an adviser in leading and managing the Payroll Delivery teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality services to clients, ensuring strong customer satisfaction through meeting of service levels, accuracy of processing, with on-time delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the team on Statutory Requirements and Benefits.
  • Analyze processes practiced and provide suggestions for improvement of the processes.
  • Manage a high performance team with a positive workplace culture through personalized leadership and relationship development.
  • Promote skills development, performance and career management of Team Members against Key Performance Indicator.
Skills/Experience Required
  • End to end Payroll experience honed in a global working environment preferebly in an Outsourcing set-up
  • More than 7 years experience in payroll, HR or Business Consulting
  • Client Relationship Management experience preferably with stakeholders/clients from across geographies/regions as well as operations team
  • Strong Leadership skills honed in a multi cultural work environment
  • Excellent Customer Service Orientation
  • Excellent in written and oral communication skills
